Most of this is covered by common sense, but just in case you're not sure or you don't have any...
1. You don't need an introduction thread. We'll get to know you by reading your posting.
2. Threads are to generate discussion, use them as such
3. Keep it intelligent. If you're going to argue, then you better bring some support.
4. No flaming. Period.
5. No rudeness, hate, offensive comments, racism, sexism, every-other-ism-in-the-language. We're not here to attack other people for whatever they are, or what they think. (If you're debating, just prove them wrong, you don't need to say: "Yeah, well you're an idiot!")
6. No TROLLING! don't make extra acothingys, don't give out fake information and claim it truth, and don't act like an idiot. We seriously don't want to waste time on this.
7. Restrain from writing posts like you would text messages. An "LOL" or "ROFL" here or there is fine, I even do it, but spell your words and try to get your grammar write. Example: " L8r, g2g sleeping" is not what you should type like.
42. What the admins and mods say, goes. We do what we do for a reason, and we don't need everyone and their extended family telling us how to do our jobs. You may politely question, but do it in a PM, and as soon as you start telling us how to do our jobs, we don't care.
If you don't follow these rules we'll typically mod your post to make it so, with increasing severity of actions following increasingly severe breaches of conduct.
